Assessment Plans for Enterprises

Clarity into Your Most Important People Programs Starts Here

We’re not for everyone.  Our clients believe two things are true…

Who should work with sixQ?

First, employees are the experts. Therefore, when you seek clarity into your most important People Programs an assessment must ask and answer the questions as they see it.

This means NO generic external assessments. Custom assessments are built to order based upon your business requirements associated with your People Programs—whether it’s competencies, culture, engagement, a sales program, or any other program you’ve invested money in (or will invest in).  At the end of an assessment, your team understands the strategy (what, why) and implementation (how) in context (when, where), while providing insights to the right people (who).

Second, you value PhD experts that can guide you, and develop a trusted partnership with you.

Methodological Expertise: Our PhDs invented the sixQ Method, which we published in academic journals, that leverages six question-types (what, why, how, when, where, who) as a simple and approachable framework to go from business requirements to custom assessment models, and ultimately finding the answers that your organization needs for change. Further, we are trained academics, who can utilize the scientific method and advanced statistical techniques to improve validity and reliability, so you have results that you can count on.

Content Expertise: As academically trained PhDs we can draw upon a vast cannon of theories and concepts to complement and extend your assessments.  For example, your team may identify employee engagement as important.  We can extend your framing of employee engagement by suggesting a three dimensional approach from the academic literature: cognitive engagement (e.g., employees think about the job all time), physical engagement (e.g., employees have energy to get the job done), and emotional engagement (e.g., victories of the company are personal victories).  By assessing all three dimensions of employee engagement, you can determine which aspect of engagement cause valuable outcomes such as job performance or employee satisfaction.

Software Expertise: We have our own proprietary algorithms that can analyze your results in sixQ Software.  Additionally, we are not limited to any software platform.  In short, we can use sixQ software, your preferred software packages, or both.

How does it work?

Our managed service approach is PhD led to optimize all phases of the assessment life-cycle, from business requirements to change.

Please take advantage of one of our two free workshops; a great way to get introduced to sixQ.

Business Requirements

Business problems and opportunities for a People Program are documented and translated into a custom assessment model and data requirements.

sixQ Method Workshop (free for new customers): In a facilitated workshop, the sixQ method allows business stakeholders (executives, managers, employees) to translate their People Program (e.g., mentoring, recruitment, culture, and more) into a custom and testable assessment model by systematically asking six question-types about strategy (what, why), implementation (how), context (when, where), by involving the right stakeholder (who) perspective.

Collect Data

Data is collected using surveys, interviews, and 3rd party sources.

Analyze + Report

Our PhD team does the analysis.  Results are reported back in a Feedback Report and Presentation.

Going beyond the data, our PhD team will connect the dots for your team to implement and make changes.

Data to Answers Workshop (free for new customers): In a facilitated workshop with stakeholders (executives, managers, employees), answers will be documented to round out insights missing from your data.  For example, exemplar stories, metaphors, procedures, and actions can be identified to compliment data-based insights to give your team all the answers they need to change.

Why are your prices in ranges?

We’re a combination of a software and services company, so depending on the exact problem we’re solving, the cost varies a bit. We want to be as transparent as possible though, so the listed “starting at” prices represent most engagements. To see where you fall, contact us.  We would be happy to give you an exact quote.

Are the Workshops Free?

Yes, new customers can choose a free workshop (introduced above), either the sixQ Method Workshop (to go from business requirements to data requirements) or the Data to Answers Workshop. Additionally, you can take advantage of a free workshop even if you don’t buy additional consulting services.  Or the free workshop can be combined with paid services.

What is the science behind sixQ?

Good question.  Executive, manager, and employee decision making is about asking the right questions. Until now, no scientific approach to ask and answer important management questions existed.  Leveraging the study of six question-types across disciplines (journalism, education, narrative theory), we introduce QuestionScienceSM as a systematic approach to ask and answer the six most important questions involved in management decisions.  Our research reveals a systematic structure to asking and answering six question-types to understand strategy (what, why) and implementation (how) in context (when, where), while providing insights to the right people (who).
